The selection of the clones significantly contributes to the quality of wood, in relation to the cultivation area and the final use (plywood panels.).
In the poplar groves of the farm the following clones can be identified: I 214, Beaupré, Tucano, Diva, AF8, Senna, Neva, Koster, Vesten, Orion. Clonal differentiation is one of the principles underlying good forest management. The new poplar groves are planted using only poplar trees provided with a genetic-sanitary certificate, well developed and lignified, without any parasites or associated lesions.
