The poplar grown in the Rosa Anna and Rosa Luigia farm is mainly purchased by Panguaneta and processed into plywood. During the first step in the processing company, logs are debarked and rounded, but these parts are not wasted, because they feed the biomass power plant that produces thermal energy. The log is then subjected to peeling, and the resulting veneers are dried, arranged in overlapping and crossed layers, and eventually turned into squared and smooth panels. The plywood is now ready to be used in various fields, including the construction, furniture, marine and packaging industries.
